Top 50 companies in Malaysia by revenue

Wondering which are the biggest companies in Malaysia? In this installment, we are ranking the top local businesses ranked by annual revenue generated.

While conglomerates usually operate in multiple industries, many of them are from the banking, power generation, plantation, telecommunication, and oil & gas sectors.

Established in 1960, Maybank is the largest company in Malaysia with RM46 billion revenue generated in 2020, followed by TNB (RM45 billion), and Sime Darby (RM38 billion).

After Maybank, CIMB is the second-largest Malaysian bank on the list, ahead of Public Bank (#7), RHB Bank (#17), Hong Leong Bank (#24), and Ambank (#25).

Founded in 1828, Boustead Holdings Bhd is the oldest company here. On another hand, Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd with its IPO in 2015 is the newest entity on the list.
