INVOKE started out in 2016 as a not-for-profit organisation working to promote and harness grassroots volunteerism for social, economic and political empowerment.
INVOKE draws the distinction for its work on data analytics to profile voters in Malaysia’s 14th General Election. Using big data analytics and machine learning algorithms, INVOKE was able to predict voter’s political inclination and deliver matching campaign messages to groups of persuadable voters.
INVOKE was the only organisation that predicted the outcome of the election correctly against a widespread belief that the incumbent administration would be re-elected.
INVOKE also successfully combined data analytics with social media messaging to reach millions of voters. Its social media assets are one of the most viral mediums among Malaysian, serving news and updates on a variety of subjects.
Since then, INVOKE has transitioned commercially as a full-fledged data firm offering solutions to a wide range of clients. Its strength is derived from its ground-breaking work on data and the breadth of skills of its 80+ workforce from various backgrounds.
INVOKE continues to run grassroots driven programs and social advocacy that benefit the public, alongside its commercial projects and services.
