WEBSITE VS MOBILE APP
While Google My Business, Facebook page, Shopee store might be sufficient for some businesses, there are many benefits of setting up your own website.
Imagine your website as your online showroom, it’s representing your business on the Internet. Your website (if done right) will be able to increase your online presence and build customer’s trust.
What about mobile apps? It’s only recommended for larger brands or internet-related businesses. It’s costs more to maintain compared to a website and it should be used to enhance the online experience, and not replace it.
DO YOU NEED AN ONLINE STORE?
If you are a retailer, whether online or offline, the easiest method is begin with is to create a store on online marketplace websites.
As for your own webstore, SaaS shopping cart providers are more suitable for smaller businesses.
Larger brands will usually use custom-made websites using Magento or other online shopping software systems.
Again, keep in mind of the costs that are involved.
